Dr. Laura Rose Collins, MD

She is not only kind and makes you feel at home. Her staff is amazing as well. She takes the time and makes you feel like you are the only patient she has. She literally walked in after delivering a baby at the hospital with a smile on her face, and gave me her full attention. The love and compassion she shows is remarkable. You ask around the hospital who they recommend and her name is the only one we heard. She delivered one of our nephews and the mom just couldn't say enough positive things about her. You ask the doctors who they recommend and it was her. You will be blessed to have her as your physician. She is definitely one of the best.

It was the worst experience with a gynecologist for me. I went to see her because she was listed as specializing in menopause. I wanted to speak with a doctor about this. Also, she had received the "timely doctor of the year award" or something like that, so I thought she would be prompt and I wouldn't have to miss much work time. I had to wait about 30 or 35 minutes to be called. The nurse spent maybe 4 minutes with me, then the doctor came in, introduced herself, and did the PAP smear. Other than for the PAP smear, I don't think she sat down during my visit, which probably lasted 5 minutes overall. She asked me if I had any questions while standing at the door with her hand on the door knob and the door half open. I do not trust her, and I would not recommend her.

The experience I had with Dr.Collins was horrible. She has the friendly face but when its coming to complication in pregnancy and I reported to her , she was rolling her eyes. My first ultrasound was very short . In my office visits, she was on a hurry.She make me feel I was a hypochondriac with my concerns and complains in my pregnancy. In that pregnancy,I went to preterm labor at 25 weeks and baby passed away. Her bed said manners was very unprofessional. Not explaining and very rough , always on a hurry. The experience with her nurse Cynthia ,was even worse. Very argumentative and arrogant attitude. When I had try to get an appointment during my pregnancy complication, it's very difficult to do one. I'm so happy I'm out of Dr.Collins care. I can not recommend her to anyone. As a patients , we do need to see her to be more courteous and spend lil more time and listen to her patients concerns .Unfortunately, not every pregnancy goes by the book, and when that's is… happening we need a professional care. I'm now pregnant and under different doctor care, and I can tell the big difference in the care and everything. Very happy I make that decision to switch to different doctor.

I have been so impressed with Dr. Collins and her assistant. I am always greeted with a smile and "How are you?". They seem to be genuinely happy to see me! Dr. C has had a relaxed demeanor and excellent bedside manners. Non of my questions/concerns or requests have alarmed or shocked her. She has answered all my questions and listened to my concerns and desires for our upcoming birth. I feel that the things I've expressed that are important to us are taken seriously and she is making them important also. So thankful for her. I feel that we are more like friends than doctor/patient. I trust her and would recommend her to my friends.

She has delivered both of our children! She is extremely intelligent and very personable! She treats my family like apart of hers! We love her tremendously!!

Dr. Collins is very kind and caring, she will listen to what you are saying and will take time to answer any questions you may have.

She is the one that you can always trust and feel safe. She saved my life and my baby's life and helped us all to pass the hard time she is young and smart she is the best OB ever Big hug THANKS FOR HER.

I was assigned to her through the ER when I had spotting with my prengancy. I went on to deliever a very healthy baby boy. Dr. Collins was amazing and helpful, and I would not want anyone else to be my doctor. Even now I go see her for normal exams and she is helpful and kind. I have never felt rushed or as if she were blowing me off.

Dr. Collins is a very sweet, kind & caring doctor. She is also thorogh. I moved to this area in 2005 and was seeing another OB/GYN and was not comfortable with the other Dr. at all but have a busy schedule and only saw her once a year but I started have some problems and the other Dr. did nothing about them. So I started seeing Dr Collins and she ran some test and gave me options and I have been happy ever since. You may think she is young but she knows what she is doing love her a lot.

Dr. Collins is by far the best OB/ GYN doc! I have seen her for both and would not go to or recommend anyone else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. LAURA COLLINS!!!!
