I have been seeing Dr. Laura Cummings for several years. She is an excellent doctor and has always been patient, understanding, and listens to all concerns and questions seriously. She has always been really good at explaining and keeping me informed. I love that the office only has women doctors, nurses, and staff!

This doctor and her staff act like they are doing you a big favor by accepting you as a patient. Condescending and very uncaring and full of themselves. Only interested in payment.

My initial impression of the doctor was good. However, after an extreme reaction to HRT therapy, my hemorrhaging worsened and I ultimately collapsed. My family immediately called the Doctor's office informing them of my condition and asked which emergency room to head for. The call resulted in an office staff that had a uncaring, condescending attitude. Staff stated IF I go to an emergency room, the doctor would not be responsible any longer. Family asked for the Doctor to call back and they stated the doctor does not make calls. Family attempted to talk with the PA (no help and had a seriously unprofessional attitude), the office supervisor (equally unhelpful and quick to confirm if we didn't like their system to take our needs somewhere else). In spite of my dire health condition, I never did receive a call back from the doctor nor the staff. That same day I faded seriously and I WAS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOM .... 7 hours in the ER, I was treated, stabilized, with… further medical treatment recommendations and schedules. I still have not been contacted by the doctor nor the office staff. It is simply stunning that a physician would be so out of touch with how her office staff treats patients and would allow that attitude affect the trust her patients must have in her professional reputation. Based on my recent experiences, I would not recommend this doctor based on the disrespectful and dangerously unprofessional office to anyone.

They seem "nice" during a visit, but basically you are in and out and they're done with you. Get your test results online yourself. If something is wrong a staff member calls to brusquely tell you what the orders are and you are not allowed to speak with the doctor. If you question the orders, you will be bullied and belittled by the staff. If you pay for your visit in cash, they will stare at you like a freak - this is strictly a "boutique" practice and those of us who pay cash are suspect, I guess. Not a good fit for my needs at all.

Dr. Cummings is by far the best gyno I have had. She explains everything and just has the ability to put you at ease.

Dr Cumming drops her patients when they become eligible for Medicare. If you hope that your doctor will be there for the long term, I recommend you try another practice.

I'm a health care professional myself and have been going to Premier Care for Women for a few years. I've always thought their office policies were unnecessarily punitive, but the care was adequate until my last visit. I saw Dr. Cummings who never even examined me to determine the nature or extent of my problem, although she did discuss it with me extensively (I guess she just took my word for it). Then my prescription wasn't eprescribed, then the wrong prescription was eprescribed, and then I was told by Sandra it was my fault for not checking with my pharmacy first (which I had)! I also hate the cash only parking and the terribly crowded deck.When I left from my last visit I was given a sheet of paper asking me to leave a good review online because they had been receiving too many negative reviews. Talk about things that make you go hmmm....Finally, I decided to change to a different group for my gynecologic care. I was shocked at the price I was quoted to transfer my records… to my new doctor. I have extensive practice management experience, and in all those years we have never charged for medical records for a transfer of care. It's legal to do so, but generally frowned upon. But then again, based on their other office policies, what did I expect?

Dr. Laura Cummings is the most insensitive doctor I have ever gone to. I have a feeling she, herself, wrote the above positive feedback, because the doctor I met is in NO WAY described by the "caring" remarks above. Dr Laura was as insensitive as they get, and when she MIS-DIAGNOSED me, I broke down crying in her office. She told me to "get over it" and would hardly even give me a note to miss work for the rest of the day. Then, after she ruined two years of my life by using a test on me that has a tremendously high rate of error (WHICH SHE FAILED TO EXPLAIN TO ME), I got re-diagnosed by a couple of other doctors as having NO PROBLEMS (which i had no symptoms to suggest i had a problem in the first place). Dr Laura in no way showed she cared about me, and she uses poor technology to do her testing. she is absolutely the worst doctor ever, and she should have her license revoked.
