Drs. Merrick and Laura Dameron were raised in the northern Atlanta area, and are excited to be a part of the Hickory Flat community.They have built a successful dental practice by providing high quality dental care with superior customer service.
Dr. Merrick Dameron grew up in Roswell, GA and attended the University of Georgia.He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, and a huge UGA football fan!After college, Dr. Dameron completed dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.Here, he was an honor student and graduated in the top of his class.
Dr. Laura Dameron grew up in Stone Mountain and Marietta.She also went to the University of Georgia.She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, and learned to love UGA football!Dr. Dameron also graduated dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, and was also an honor student and top graduate.After dental school, she completed a one year General Practice Residency …program – which gave her more training in hospital and general dentistry.
The Damerons live in Hickory Flat, and have 2 sons – Aaron and Ben.When they are not at the office, they love traveling and spending time with their boys.Dr. Merrick relaxes and keeps in shape by running (6 marathons to date), and Dr. Laura’s hobbies include gardening and learning about photography.
Drs. Merrick and Laura Dameron are both active members of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society and the Cherokee Study Club.They both believe in keeping abreast of the newest advances in dental techniques and technology, by investing in continual education and training.The Damerons also believe in involving you – the patient – in this learning process.Their office is set up to help educate you about your dental health, and provide you with the best treatment possible.
