Dr. Laura Thomason Dickens, MD

Dr. Laura Dickens specializes in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism, with additional training in internal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Chicago. With 13 years of clinical experience, Dr. Dickens brings extensive expertise to managing complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Dickens practices at multiple University of Chicago Medicine locations throughout Chicago, including their River East facility and main campus. She focuses on treating conditions such as type 2 diabetes and bone infections. Her clinical work includes performing blood tests and chemistry panels to help diagnose and monitor patient health.
