She takes the time to thoroughly listen to my concerns, ensuring that I always feel heard, respected, and valued as a patient. Her thoughtful approach, combined with valuable insights and data-informed recommendations, gives me confidence in the care and guidance I receive. My appreciation for Dr. Erdman goes far beyond my routine wellness visits. She was absolutely incredible throughout my pregnancy, during my delivery, and in the postpartum care that followed. Having a physician I trusted during such an important and vulnerable time in my life meant more to me than I can fully express. Her compassion, attentiveness, reassurance, and genuine concern for my well-being made me feel safe and supported every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful to have Dr. Erdman as my physician and truly appreciate the consistent, compassionate, and exceptional care she has provided me… over the years.

Dr Erdman is awesome. I’ve been seeing her for 16 years. She has helped me through so many different medical issues over the years. Each time she is kind, professional, thorough, and provides all options so that I can make the best decision. She is the reason I have my son.

Dr. Laura Erdman has been my OB/GYN Doctor for many years. Dr. Erdman is very thorough, patient, and kind. She makes sure she listens to any concerns you may have about your health giving thorough and knowledgeable advice as well as care. Dr. Erdman is an outstanding physician who has always given exceptional healthcare to myself and other female family members that are her patients as well. I am forever grateful to the outstanding care that I’ve received from Dr. Erdman.

When I was 6 weeks pregnant with my daughter I began hemorrhaging and called Dr erdman. It was a Sunday afternoon she told me I was having a miscarriage and that I should go into her office the next day to confirm it. I told her I wanted to be examined, so She told me to go to labor and delivery. They did an ultrasound and we saw a heartbeat!!!! Thinking everything was fine, I was shocked when Dr Erdman came in with a consent for surgery. She told me I had two pregnancies, one in my uterus and one in my Fallopian tube ( ectopic pregnancy). She said I needed surgery immediately to remove the ectopic pregnancy because it was life threatening. As I read over the consent, I noticed it also listed D & C on it. I asked why do I need a D & C when we saw a heartbeat on the ultrasound??? She told me that the heart rate of that pregnancy was low and that it was not viable. She said she would just Remove it by doing a D&C. I told her "no, we will let nature take its course". She persisted and… told me I was going to miscarry in the next week and probably need a D&C and by doing it today it would save me needing a second surgery. I was appalled, she wanted to end my pregnancy because the heart rate was low? There was a heartbeat!!! How could she possibly be suggesting this??? I stood my ground and told her not to go near my uterus - we will let nature take its course. Thank God I didn't listen to her, my daughter, now 3 and a half, and is perfectly healthy. Every day of my pregnancy I thought I was going to have a miscarriage. Despite being very worried, my pregnancy was easy and without any complications. I share my story because I sincerely hope that Dr Erdman never did or does this to anyone else. I am so grateful every single day that I did not listen to her.

I was a patient for a lot of years. I stayed with Dr. Erdman when she recommended a surgery I did not need. I also stayed with her when I had a problem during pregnancy and I called her office and was told to schedule with my PCP who was unable to see me and advised me to go to Patient First which sent me to the ER. After a follow-up with my PCP, I was told I should've gone to my OB/GYN from the get-go. The choice is yours but you have to stay on top of the advice you are given.

I am leaving Dr Erdman after only two years. I have only seen her twice for two annual checkups and I donâ??t have any major complaints about her as a doctor. However, I had another annual appointment and was kept waiting for an hour and when I approached the receptionist I was told the Dr was running an hour behind. I couldnâ??t believe that she didnâ??t bother to mention that when I arrived or call me ahead of time. When I said that I couldnâ??t wait any longer because I had to get back to work and needed to reschedule, she said I had to wait another 8 months!!!! I even asked if she could possibly do something sooner and it was a â??Noâ??! The receptionist is rube and not at all helpful. I found a new doctor willing to see me in two weeks and the girl on the phone was pleasant, efficient and helpful.

This was my second annual checkup. I waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room, and, after the preliminaries, waited another 5 minutes in the examining room. Dr. Erdman did not rush me, gave me a quick and efficient exam, followed by all the time I needed discussing things in her office. I never felt rushed or unimportant. My slightest displeasure came from the receptionist, who was efficient but could have been more congenial.

She's a good ob but once you have the baby good luck getting as good a gyn if you ever have problems. Seems their office only wants to focus on pregnant patients. I felt like I was treated totally different once I was no longer pregnant. Also she is very liberal when it comes to surgery.

Dr. Erdman is an EXCELLENT doctor, very knowledgeable with an amazing bedside manner.

Dr. Laura Erdman and Charles Street OBGYN is the best place to go for having a baby or general women's health. From the receptionist to billing person to Janet in sonograms they are outstanding. Dr. Erdman is an amazing OBGYN! She is very smart, kind, understanding, great bedside manner and makes you feel like you are her only patient! SHE IS THE BEST out there!
