Dr. Laura Ann Flath, MD

I've had Dr. Flath as my primary physician for several years now. I feel very grateful to have a doctor I can trust and who I feel understands me. When blood tests are concerning she immediately sends me for further tests or explains clearly why they are not a problem. I feel over the years we have built a warm relationship and that I can depend on her expertise. She's very smart and cares for her patients. I would recommend her to anyone.

When I first went in to see Dr. Flath a couple of years ago, I felt she was somewhat condescending and lacked compassion and understanding. Very quick to draw a conclusion to what I was there to discuss. I almost felt intimidated which I think is the opposite of how you should feel when you have an appointment. I said I would give her one more chance before I switched doctors. This last time I went in to see her, she was very thorough, listened to my concerns, and made me feel very comfortable being there. I will continue to see her as of now.

I have found her to be a good listener and also explains what her plan to treat me as excellent. GOOD bedside manner. Spent at least 20-30 minutes with me!!!

Dr Flath is callous and lacks the compassion and care necessary of a medical doctor. She fails to accurately communicate to her patients the course of treatment she is, with such in "godlike" wonder administering. I know she is young, but her patients should not be her guinea pigs in learning how to care for someone as a competent medical doctor.

Extremely uncaring. Very cold and haughty. Asked if I needed to be admitted to a mental facility. Very insulting!
