I’m sorry but get a hold of yourself ! You waited and waited and waited years and years hoping you would be the lucky miracle baby mom conceiving naturally after trying and trying for years ! Finally you are running out of patience desperately reaching out to a fertility specialist and expect them to magically impregnate you after the first visit ! Or better yet walk out of the office in your third trimester so you can now “safely” share the great news with your friend and family or even worst post on Social media/update your Facebook story ?! There are critical and important steps to fallow and the fact that your “26 apples a day diet advice didn’t go down the right pipe is your own selfish fault ! Be grateful that they advised you to take care of yourself and didn’t just walk you in to the IVF room to end up with your very first failed procedure! I don’t know what professional advice you had prior to Gago IVF but from my own long long journey with infertility I had to go trough… several testes with my family doctor than gynecologist than down my long research list of fertility specialists and one of the major things they all brought up was my physical well being ! Fact that your fertility specialist advised you to eat couple extra apples and you leaving a one star review over this tells me you need to look in the mirror for one long extra minute girl ! Get a hold of your emotions and use your bad energy working out ! I’ve been a patient of this clinic and people like you need to steam off this non sense attitude in better ways than this ! You leave a one star review to affect a good business reputation because you are not ready to take advice to better yourself ?! What goes around comes around ! Watch your vibe ... you are so immature it’s ridiculous people waste time looking up business to approach and because of your immature review they may pass over a very good business ! Very very frustrating !!!! GO GAGO IVF !!!

Run away! I had the WORST experience with Dr. Ayers and Dr. Gago. Not only was I told to be on a diet of "26 apples a day" for fertility, constantly had issues with medications being requested that were incorrect, terrible customer service from the nurses at the Gago office. I just had an appointment with Dr. Ayers two weeks ago to be on a medication for 6 weeks, then sends a letter out that he's retiring. All his patients are going to Gago. I get a call from the office nurse stating I need to make an appointment with Gago to proceed, even though I am taking a month break from trying. I get a call from their office stating GAGO recommends me to OTHER IVF doctors in the area! RUN far from this poorly run office.

I was simply terrified of failure during my treatment constantly second guessing myself if it was the right decision and comparing my cousins strong desire to adopt due to a quite Incomparable guarantee of becoming a parent . I am the proud mother of a 3 month old and that’s thanks to Doctor Laura Gago and her wonderful hard working staff ! It honestly upsets me to see the bad reviews and I must say some people have a harder time than others along this Jurney however we go there because we want help right ? Nothing happens overnight and we all know how we only wish we did this earlier so be patient, have faith and take it one step at a time ! Remember you are not the only one there and they are doing everything they can to help you ! I visited other fertility offices before and Doctor Laura Gago won me over first visit ! I’m beyond grateful we found her and wouldn’t go to any other fertility clinic in Michigan ! ! ! Our first ivf was successfull thanks to Doctor Laura Gago and her… wonderful staff ! Thank YOU !!!

I have had wonderful experiences at both of my visits. Dr Gago is knowledgeable, warm and connected. Her staff is also incredible. She’s created a safe nurturing environment where a woman can feel supported in her most intimate and powerful endeavor; the pursuit of having a child. I’m so glad she was recommended to me! Diamond in the rough!

Great care and wealth of expertise

Dr. Gago is extremely knowledgeable and has excellent bedside manner. She takes the time to go over every option along with chances and ramifications. My wife and I felt very comfortable going to her throughout the process.

This is a fertility nightmare. You will never reach a human when calling. She pushes you to voicemail and you are lucky for a nurse to call you back within 48 hours. When you are paying $25,000 for a treatment you deserve better. Go to any other provider in the area and you will probably receive better care.

I wish I had read the reviews about this clinic before I went. Although Dr. Gago does seem nice, positive, and knowledgeable, my experience there was terrible. Every visit included a 1.5-2.5-hour wait. Staff did not know who I was or why I was there. The entire time I felt like I didn't know what was going on or what I was supposed to be doing. No one answers their office phone during business hours and you have to leave messages and wait for someone to call you back. When I nicely expressed frustration about this, one of the nurses insinuated I might be happier if I went elsewhere. It was then that I read the reviews....and all of the negative reviews reflect almost this exact experience. One reviewer suggested we go to the Michigan Comprehensive Fertility Center (MCFC), so I checked them out (in Dearborn). That reviewer was SO right. The treat you like a rock star at the MCFC, and never once did I have more than a two MINUTE wait. Everyone knew who I was and why I was there. They… went above and beyond to save me every penny they could on medications. I always knew what I was doing. They always answered the phone. Pictures of thousands of babies they helped conceive line their walls. And I am now expecting a baby too thanks to them. Go there.

Dr. Gago is a very pleasant and knowledgable person. We felt comfortable working with her. Support staff, however, were extremely ineffcient-bordering on incompetent. We called to schedule an appointment specifically to review our old file--this was clearly stated prior to the appointment. We were told the appointment would last 30 minutes. Upon arrival, we encountered a very small, cramped and croweded waiting room and learned that our old file had NOT been located in the 3 weeks since scheduling. My insurance card and driver's license were taken to make copies--and not returned to me. I was so upset and frustrated with the experience, I forgot to ask for them. We waited for over 2 hours before seeing Dr. Gago. She did her best to recall our previous treatments and to outline possible future steps. She ordered several tests--many of which were repeats of what we had done before. We opted not to repeat tests and followed through with the others. I had to call 3 times to get results as… the nurse would call back not leave a message (as requested). When we asked questions about what came next, the response was, "You need to complete the rest of the ordered tests before you can meet with Dr. Gago again." We tried to explain that we felt that was unnecessary and asked for further explanation about the purpose of the repeat tests--again, the nurse emphasized that they had to be done before we could move forward. At this point, we decided to seek a second opinion. I later received an EOB from an insurance carrier we no longer have. Our new insurance had been taken at the first appointment--they did not bill this insurance and when I called to follow up on this--they could not find the information. Addressing infertility is emotional and stressful enough without having to address poor professionalism. Dr. Gago may be an excellent doctor--we will never know this first-hand as we can't get past the incompetence of the office. Her support staff fail to facilitate the process and add to the stress of a difficult situation.

I would recommend Dr Gago to any of my friends and family. Her staff is very personal and friendly. The overall experience was great. I've heard from others that went through iui and ivf that they wished they had the same treatment, staff and doctors, instead of the clinic they went to. My husband always had so many questions and dr gago always was ready with the answers. It was a wonderful to not stress over the science of everything. Also gago has added additional people next door that can assist and help with tbe success of your outcome. accupuncture, trainer with yoga all great tools to aid fertility.
