Dr. Laura Gilbey is a kind and compassionate doctor. She is also very knowledgeable as a pulmonologist. We moved to Fredericksburg but I still drive to Austin to see her so that should say a lot.

Dr. Gilbey was assigned to me when I was taken by helicopter to St Davids on life support. My family was very impressed with my treatment and her bedside manner as she explained my situation and took care of me. Two months later I went to ER and put back back in the hospital with pneumonia. I requested her because of the excellent treatment she gave me when I was so ill. She is now my doctor and I am so happy that I met her.

She's # 1. Has taken care of me pre and post transplant. Excellent staff and both pleasant and professional.

Office staff does not return important calls on medical issues. Act as if you are just too much of a hassle..I love Dr Gilby wish she would get a better front office.

competent, kind, a doctor you can feel very comfortable with.Asked the experienced hospital staff what they think of her - very positive.
