Dr. Laura Givens, MD

If I could rate her with negative stars, I would. She was a dr for my now late husband at a facility. She took her dog with her on appointments (and paid more attention to the dog than the patient). In my opinion, she wasn't interested in helping him where he could benefit from the help--only interested in staying the 5 min and arguing against care. smh

Dealt with this practice for about a year. The supervising doctor is Lauren Givens. However, I never met her, nor saw her, nor is there any way to escalate an issue directly to the doctor. She might be a medical Bot. Delta with Boerne location.I attempted 5 times to reach the nurse Denise Delarosa regarding questions on a completed lab report. But she never took my calls, nor returned my calls.  I was told I  would need to schedule an office visit if I had any questions.  I asked that the reports and summary review be uploaded to the portal. But they refused.  I asked Delarosa to add to my immunization records   on the portal but she advised she didn't know how to do that.  NP Michelle Mourrie, was helpful and provided valuable information. What was concerning was her take on CDC guidelines regarding use of masks. Apparently, she felt her skills in epidemiology enabled her to review CDC data and her conclusion was that wearing of masks was a waste of time and as overreach on part of… the government.   I certainly would not recommend this practice. or this health provider.

A doctor is assigned to my care at our Nursing facility whom I've never met, as most here haven't. I have PPMS, Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and being a paraplegic with growing great pains and varied progressive symptoms that, as the diagnosis states, are "progressive", just get worse and she's done nothing in regards to my progressive agonies and needs, words like abuse and neglect come to mind, but I'm just looking for real care from a real caring doctor, as many here are looking for in their aging disability nreds. Too bad it's not this one.
