Dr. Laura Jennifer Haygood, MD

I went to visit Dr. Haygood in the spring afor treatment of a skin disease, to my lower extremities. The kindness and the knowledge of Dr.Haygood and her staff made me feel so comfortable. I had been going to dermatologist for over 20 years. My legs stayed open with visible bleeding, iextreme discomfort and itching for 20 years,even with professional services. She is so patient, explains everything about the disease and care and medicine. During the pandemic, they readily accepted my calls and showed me that they care about my progress. This doctor carries a bright Spirit from within. I am so thankful that I was led to her and her staff ?

My grandfather saw Dr. Haygood for a spot that he had on his head. They did a biopsy on it and removed it. They called him on a Friday afternoon around 1pm to tell him it was skin cancer and he needed to see a neurosurgeon. The problem is that he can not hear very well with him being 80 years old. He told this to the nurse that called him but she did not offer to call his wife to inform us as to what was going on. Their office closed at 1pm since it was a Friday, so we could not call them back and will have to wait all weekend to know what is going on. I feel like this was highly unprofessional. Also, when he went in for his appointment the first time, he had another spot that he wanted them to look at and they said he would have to make another appointment. They reason was because they said they only deal with one issue at a time. What if that is skin cancer too? Seems like they just wanted more money for another office visit.

I Love going here, Dr Haygood is very knowledgeable and caring. Great staff, Love Mary!

I met with Dr. Haygood approximately 5 times. She never spent more than 2 minutes with me and rushed out of the door everytime. I had to keep asking questions as information was never provided to me, all the while she was staying in the door trying to walk out. She didn't seem to care about my concerns, didn't want to answer questions (she would have her staff explain why problems occur,etc.) To top it off I had to point out problem areas on my face and she only focused on one spot... totally frustrated!

Had been using another doctor for years without effect. Dr. Haygood had the problem diagnosed within a couple of visits.
