She is the absolute best gyn I have ever had. She is friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and caring. She took up a lot of time with me, going over what is a difficult diagnosis for me. I will never forget her kindness and patience.

Dr Joiner is AMAZING. She really listens, is patient, takes her time with you, remembers Everything you discussed even a year later, and really cares about you and I have complete confidence in her. I trust her and feel she cares about me as a patient. If I could give her 10 gold stars I would. Compassionate, gentle and expert in her field.

If I could give Zero stars I would. If you inquire about infertility-STAY AWAY! They only care about your insurance in how much they get from you. I have been trying to have a baby for over a year and decided it was time to see a doctor about it. I was very excited at the prospect of having a baby. I went in for my appointment, first appointment of the day as they just opened, and was placed in a patient waiting room...for over an hour. During my wait, I listened to staff members outside my door complaining about patients and telling each other about how the doctor hadn't arrived to work yet...Keep in mind, no one came in to tell me anything, I was missing work for the appointment. I found the staff outside my door extremely unprofessional, but I still wanted to see the doctor about next steps, just being hopeful. The doctor finally came in with someone she was training. She was writing down codes for my insurance and used medical jargon the entire time. I could only… understand that xyz would take 4-6 months and xyz would take another 8 months. She never once asked me what was going on, what I've tried, nothing, just excited to give me these codes for my insurance so they could tell me cost. I had to finally say that time was most important to me, I'm 37, and the items (whatever they were) that would take 4, 6, 8 months were not an option. Her tone changed immediately. She explained that she wasn't a fertility specialist, just provided fertility services, so it sounded like I just needed a referral. I was no longer of any worth to her. She said ok I'll refer you to a specialist and left. Didn't say have a nice day, didn't offer to walk me out, didn't say a nurse would come in to walk me out, I was just left in the room. So I left myself and was just in complete shock over what took place. I just couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and the lack of compassion that came from the staff, doctor Joiner especially. The doctor spent 15 minutes with me, to provide me with nothing I could work with, and sent me a $110 bill. I'm so disgusted at this practice-Never ever again. I found a doctor 2 hours away who is excellent, worth the drive!

So thankful for Dr. Joiner! She is very attentive, knowledgeable and has a calm demeanor. I will recommend her to anyone that asks!

Very caring doctor!

My husband and I had our first baby while living in Augusta. We want more children and I wish that Augusta was not a 2 hour drive because I would have Dr. Joiner deliver all of our children. Her bedside manner is amazing. You never feel rushed and all your questions are answered. She understood exactly how I wanted my labor and delivery experience to be and she was extremely patient with me. I did not want an epidural and she said ok, you just let me know if you do. Eventually I did get it, I will never reject that again??. I chose to get induced after my son was almost a week past his due date, she told me all the risk and everything worked out well with a vaginal delivery. I cannot forget her nurse Tammy. Those two together are unstoppable. Every visit Tammy was attentive and caring. All the staff at the office was great as well as the staff at university hospital. When you have had such a great experience the first time it is so hard to find another doctor that lives up to your… expectations.

I absolutely love this woman and her gentle heart! She is incredibly gifted and makes you feel very cared for and loved! After going to her for a year and a half with infertility my husband and i were able to conceive! She always had a plan of action, but also wanted to hear my thoughts and questions going forward! I am devastated that my husband and i had to move in the middle of our pregnancy so she couldn't deliver my baby. i highly recommend her for anyone needing an OBGYN in the area!

She is now in augusta, GA, but this is the same Dr. I highly recommend her for your doctor! She spent a large amount of time with me to discuss different options, asked multiple times if I had any questions, and the wait time was very minimal. I'm at first time mom and she made me feel at ease and confident in her ability as well as her practice. My mind is now at ease knowing I have such a great doctor/doctors to guide me through this journey!

She shows genuine care and concern and takes her time.
