Excellent surgery and care

Dr. Lazarus has provided exceptional care as I've been dealing with a cancer diagnosis requiring extensive testing, consultations and care coordination. She has gone above and beyond to communicate results quickly and thoroughly, and to review all of my treatment options. Her team has been incredible about getting me in for both routine and urgent/same day appointments. I really appreciated their willingness to process an external referral I requested and to coordinate that care seamlessly.

I met with Dr. Lazarus for a second opinion, and from the very beginning she explained my diagnosis and next steps in clear, detailed, and compassionate terms. By the time she asked if I had any questions, I realized she had already answered every single one just by thoroughly explaining everything. I knew in that moment that she was the surgeon I wanted and trusted.

The first thing you’ll notice about Dr. Lazarus is her professionalism. Her impressive education and training speak for themselves, and the way she carries herself instills total confidence. You know right away that you are in the best hands. Dr. Lazarus is an exceptional communicator. She goes over your results and your options in a way that is clear and understandable. When you are already overwhelmed and processing an enormous amount of information, having someone like Dr. Lazarus—who genuinely cares about her patients and about ensuring they can make informed decisions using the latest data-driven research—is paramount. She stays current with the newest science, frequently attending conferences and collaborating with her peers to ensure she is… using the most up-to-date techniques and evidence-based practices. Her skills are second to no one. Her entire team works seamlessly together and makes you feel truly supported and cared for. I had direct access to her RN and cannot say enough good things about the entire team. They became almost a comfort blanket for me, and when I “graduated” from their services, I was honestly sad—it felt as though they had become part of my family. Bittersweet, for sure. Dr. Lazarus moved mountains to make sure I was taken care of as quickly and thoroughly as possible. I never carried the burden of wondering whether I was making the right decisions. I knew I was—because Dr. Lazarus walked me through every step of the process. If there truly are angels among us, Dr. Lazarus was mine. Dr. Lazarus, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
