Dr. Laura Leigh Meyers, MD

Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe Dr. Meyers. She was agressive, combative, talked over me, did not listen or even talk about the purpose of my 1 1/2 year old daughters visit until I stood up to walk out. She continually tried to engage me in an argument. Between myself, and two kids I have seen a lot of doctors, as well as having many doctors in my family. I have never, ever, EVER been treated by anyone the way I was treated by Dr. Meyers. I cannot think of a single interaction that I have had as a customer or patient where I have been treated as poorly as I was by her. She should not be a doctor, nor be around children. The receptionist was very nice, the nurse was very nice, but the doctor was horrifying.

I had an appointment for my 6 year old with Dr Meyers at 8 am . I would assume one of the first few appointments. It took them 45 mins to get back to a room. The nurse asked me a few questions and I told her that I had a video that could show the doctor that would explain the concern I had for my son. The nurse came back in 10 minutes only to tell me that I need to go an get an X-ray done. Totally unprofessional. The Doctor did not even take a look at my son or even come in to talk to me /see the video of what my actual concern was. Instead I am asked to get X-rays. If this is what needed to be done, then they should have told me while i was in the waiting room for 45 mins. I am never going back to Dr Meyers for sure. She is not the only good orthopedic in St Louis. Horrible experience. Please save yourself the trip and find a better doctor who is professional and mindful.

I like this doctor, but do not trust her when she sends you to Signature Health service. The imaging she sent us to charged $3000 per MRI. After insurance, it was about $900 each. They should be ashamed of who they are for charging so much for an MRI that can get done for $300.

Dr. Laura Meyers (sp) was amazing and so diligent with Josh calling throughout the day for test results and operating as soon as possible. She was wonderful and we are grateful.

I dislike that I have to leave a message and wait for someone to call me back to make an appointment.

after my son broke a bone by his elbow, we were referred to Dr. Meyers for a followup and to get a cast put on. She came in and was so nice to my son, ( big plus) and made him laugh. She also went over his xray with me explaining things to me. I walked out completely confident that she is the right Dr. For us.

awesome,explained to me what prblem was and how to fix it,my daughter felt comfortable talking with her,I would recommend her to others whose child would need to see an orthopedic doctor.She seems well educated and very polite.
