Dr. Laura E Mieszerski, MD

I have been seeing her since my early 20's. She has always been so caring and kind !!

I have been going to Dr Mieszerski for over 10 years. I moved away from the area and I still go back to see her. She is excellent and professional and really takes the time to get to know you and your health. I highly recommend her for GYN.

I am 23 weeks pregnant and in the process of leaving this practice. There have been a number of hiccups but this past week was beyond the pale Marge, one of the nurses, was incredibly rude- almost confrontational, to me regarding my FMLA paperwork, insisting that my request for it to be completed with approximate information regarding my delivery (since I haven't delivered yet) was "not going to work" despite the fact that I confirmed repeatedly with HR at my company that it would be accepted. She never asked what I did or where I worked- and then completed the forms as if I was looking for only short term disability of 6-8 weeks post-partum and not the full FMLA time of 12 weeks. In addition, I have been waiting over 3 days for a phone consult with Mieszerski. Thankfully its nothing urgent. In addition, I have had multiple appointments cancelled due to various reasons, including being scheduled on a day the office was closed and at the last minute because of a provider calling out… without any coverage. I have also had to request multiple times that orders for standard tests be written. I do love two of the midwives at this practice. Ronnie and Kathleen were amazing- and there is a receptionist who is always lovely. Unfortunately the hassle of dealing with these other issues and the stress that comes along with it- is not worth it at this stage of my otherwise easy pregnancy.

I love this doctor. Spends time with patients and takes a personal interest.

After my first visit with Dr. Mieszerski, I will NEVER see her again. She was rude (to me and my husband), judgmental, critical and ignorant. I came in as an informed woman and she scoffed at my research. Her bio states that her interests include natural childbirth, but after meeting her and hearing her opinions in the 5 minutes she spent with me and her lack of knowledge about something as simple as a fetoscope, I would be afraid to have her present while I was giving birth.

Came to het b/c I wanted a water birth & she was the only OB I knew who performed them. Susan her midwife is wonderful but Miezerski is rather cold & very medical-minded, not interested in giving you a good birth experience. She looked bored when I was in labor and pushed for a c-section. No warm & fuzzy here, nor a sense of humor.

the woman is nuts. only interested in covering her a.. quite unprofessional to say the least!

I would highly recommend Laura to any woman looking for a thorough professional who takes her time with her patients. I had gestational diabetes and gave birth to a 10lbs baby. I really couldn't have asked for a better doctor!

I have never had such pleasant experiences with any doctor ever. She is fantastic! She shows concern for the whole person which is very comforting.
