Dr. Laura Ruth Morgan, MD

My mother fell and went to the hospital after hitting her head at 91. The hospital refused to admit her since she had nothing broken. They contacted Dr. Morgan who never called us and after she passed away a week later, she still never even had the courtesy to call us back. We were extremely upset and feel she was too busy to have the courtesy to even have a staff member call us.

Dr. Should Not be allowed to practice. I am a formal nurse with over 20 years of experience. I have worked with all types of doctors some good, few bad. Dr. Morgan is at the very bottom. Maybe at some point in her career she use to be a good doctor, but her many years of practice has had its toll. If you are looking to get a flu shot or maybe a routine physical shes your Doctor. Anything else do not take the chance.

This doctor had the nerve to confront my terminally ill mother in the hospital and tell her that I was not to ever co tact her or her staff ever again because I was “too pushy and and know it all” when I was just explaining to her what I knew before asking her question....she is a horrible person and should just retire.

Dr. Morgan was treating my mother for a staph infection which eventually landed her in the hospital. I got frustrated at the lack of communication and the Dr. not returning my calls. When she finally did I was explaining what another doctor informed me about my mothers condition. Her response, “I know! I consulted him! Why are you calling me? Do you have a question for me?” She then went to the hospital and informed my mother in person that I was “too pushy and a know it all.” She also called my sister and said I harassed the staff.. What?? I just asked to have my calls returned. She also pulled her appetite stimulant for fear of her throwing a blood clot. My mother then ceased to eat. When I called to inquire about another appetite stimulant I never got a return call. I was told she was out of town. INSTEAD, SHE DISCHARGED MY MOTHER AMD I HAD TO FIND A NURSING FACILITY ON A HURRY!!! Now my mother has ceased to eat completely and now will go on hospice. She may be an “ok”… doctor overall, she is a horrible person.

This doctor needs to retire. And fast. My mom has seen her for years and years. She’s been sick and in her bed for over two weeks - Possibly due to an antibiotic reaction,and was told by Dr. Morgan “hang in there”. No examination. No nothing. I think Dr. Morgan seems to think because she’s 87 years old, she’s near her deathbed, however my mom is very active. Plays cards with her friends three times a week, goes to dinners, hangs out with friends etc. The office staff and I had it out last year because my mom had called three times to make an appointment and no one ever called her back. Run and run fast From this doctor. Thank the Lord we found a new doctor for my mom today and she is very pleased.

I have never had a worst doctor than Dr Morgan. She is short tempered and there is no bedside manner. She resembles a military doctor. Her nurse Sandy is the same way and almost punctured my eardrum. Her front desk staff do not follow through on lab orders or referral visits to other doctors.

Thanks to Dr. Morgan for correctly diagnosing GERD induced cough in my wives health profile. I am impressed by the efficiency and accuracy of your staff.

I would continue to see Dr. Morgan if she replaced several of her front office personnel. They are lazy, unfriendly, disorganized and do NOT follow up on lab orders, etc. I would rate them THE WORST FRONT OFFICE in the valley.

I had a first time visit with her last year. She was on her cell phone with her son talking about funiture. She spent more time on her phone then on my checkup. Its like she didnt care about my visit.

I would not recommend this doctor. Appointments are scheduled 5 weeks out and once my appointment came I waited over an hour. When I asked the counter how much longer they responded 25 more minutes. Total wait was one and half hours. I'm never going back.
