I was once briefly treated by her. The doctors diagnosis was off and she kept raising the dose until my cognitive functioning was noticeably reduced. Not good.

I was pumped up on so many meds I had lost some cognitive functioning. Way off on diagnosis, I was at max dose and she would not admit that the diagnosis was off and thats why the meds didnt work. She wont listen.

She had me on so many pills I could not function , lack of empathy and Way off the mark diagnosis !

There should be a major FDA black box warning on her business card she is arrogant irresponsible no bedside manner as the nurse that just wrote in I also agree she will worsen your condition warning if you are feeling in need of immediate help be sure when you go to the emergency room pray on your knees and hope that you don't get that cold hearted arrogant egotistical thing she is not compassionate she is a bully think about the things she has said in her arrogance if you have seen her does she seem warm like you to trust or is she condescending and confrontational I feel sorry for each victim one poor helpless patient at a time she bullies and manipulates2.5 rating out of 5 stars is generous and I feel sorry for the people that can't defend themself she is a bully she will antagonize. Mrs.Parise is above reproach she doesn't deserve the title just as certain medications can be in clinical trials a placebo she is indeed a placebo of a doctor she is not real see a gypsy fortune teller… or a snake oil salesman you'll have a better chance at recovering, good thing she doesn't work at a suicide prevention hotline there would be 100% mortality and a smirk from mrs. Worst doctor i have ever met and i am a nurse...horrible personality, unprofessional...shes money hungry...she will be sure to worsen ur condition!!!! She lacks any kind of compassion...just when it seems she cares, ur let down once again...she caused me great distress after she told me i was untreatable...after just ONE medication tried!!!! Should lose medical licsence for fraud after she told me she diagnosed me with bi-polar only so i could take latuda...ummmmmm...kick backs???? I think so...to this day after ive been out of her care, she still gives me nightmares...i think our longest appointment time was maybe like 7 minutes....please listen...please dont go to her...I was able to advocate for myself a bit b/c of my backround on the medical field, so i knew she was a horrible doctor..she doesnt care about u, she cares about the money...North Shore, pay attention to who u r employing...are u even sure she had a medical liscence????? DO NOT waste time and money on her...shes a… snake waiting to prey...

I have never encountered a "doctor" so irrational and irresponsible in my life. I was attending the rehab she works at and during our first consultation she immediately judged my based on the specific drug that landed me there, like what I did was worse than someone who is an alcoholic. She immediately told me I should go to an inpatient facility and said the same thing the 4 1/2 weeks I was there. This was in spite of me staying clean and being well liked by all the other patients and staff members. 2 days before I was going to complete the program she discharged me without any specific reason and said if I went to a 3 day inpatient program I could come back. This in effect is denying me the after care which is extremely important AND she left me without my medication which is dangerous to just stop taking. The entire staff fought for her to allow me to stay but that meant nothing. It disturbed the rest of the patients as well for how the situation was handled. She should be fired.

I only had one appt with Dr Parise, and it was literally the worst experience I have ever had with a "therapist". And I have seen quite a few. Not only do I regret telling her what I did, I did not trust her professional opinion at all, and she judged me based off of a few questions. Her attitude was cold and she told me to talk to her nurse because she was "too old to convince people to get treatment"---I WAS ALREADY THERE! I didn't need convincing? If you are too old, consider retirement. Now, after one visit, she has talked with me old psychiatrist of 3 years and he will no longer see me after talking with her! He says I need to stick with her! I think we should get to choose who we seek care with! I am now without any care provider thanks to Mrs. Parise.

Stay away from this doctor! I had no idea who she was and finally had to hire attorneys to stop her claim that I was her patient. It took close to two years by the time she finally admitted that I never made an appointment nor was ever her patient. Dr Parise obviously feels that her degree can be used in any nefarious way and can feel safe in her ridiculous claims. At the time that Dr Parise put me under this siege, I had a prognosis of quadriplegic. I have multiple discs injuring my cervical spine and a broken back. All this is legally documented. I can't think how she twists the truth to her actual patients and has no conscience in betraying her oath.
