Dr. Laura Parra
Dr. Parra was born in Florida but moved to North Carolina in 1976 to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated with a B.S. in Zoology in 1980 and went on to enroll in that institution's School of Dentistry where she received her D.D.S. in 1984. After graduating from dental school, Laura began practicing in Durham and opened her individual private office 1985. Since then, her practice has grown and evolved, but she continues to focus on preventive and family care while incorporating components of general, restorative and esthetic dentistry. From the beginning, Laura has worked diligently with her staff to provide individualized dental care for the members of her community in a compassionate and friendly environment. She resides in Durham with her husband, Dr. Ed Kanoy.
