Dr. Laura Power, MD

Worst experience I’ve had with a pediatrician. Facility is not particularly clean. Carpet in waiting room has large stains. Front office staff is friendly. Beyond that, I have nothing positive to say. The LVN appears to have very little medical knowledge nor ability. Dr Power seem to have minimal interest in her patients. Covers the bare minimum and sends you on your way. During my son’s appointment it was determined that he needed a referral to a specialist as well as a single prescription. The following day I had to call the office as the Dr never sent the prescription. Secondly, the LVN had sent a referral for the wrong type of care. When I spoke to the LVN about an alternate referral provider (1st one not accepting patients) she told me to Google it. My children will not be seeing this provider again. I prefer a medical professional who’s staff doesn’t recommend her patients Google medical care.

I went to doctor powers as a little kid. I say like 6 years old till I was 8 years old. And I plan on going again since I can still see a pediatrician. She's a very good doctor and helped my parents understand everything. And the reviews saying they're discriminatory towards people on medicade, I never had that problem. But again I've been going there since she opened.

Dr. Power has been our childrens doctor for three years now. Her staff has been just as profesional as she has been. I would recommend dr. Power to anyone.

I have been taking my child to Dr. Power since birth and have had poor experiences each time my child visited the office. The staff is rude and unprofessional. I went through a period of time where I couldn't afford "real" insurance on my child and received Medicaid. The staff is very discriminative against Medicaid recipients, which I find odd since the majority of the population who see Dr. Power receive Medicaid. She doesn't stay long and doesn't listen to the problems presented to her. I have had several wrong diagnoses from Dr. Power and one which is very serious, my child is now being treated by another doctor. Long story short, I would never and will never recommend Dr. Power. She seems to be a very sweet person, but possibly overwhelmed as a doctor. Her staff is just plain rude.

The staff is very unprofessional and rude. I was laughed at, given dirty looks and treated unfairly. I was treated like a bad mother for not having enough money to bring in my older daughter for a sick visit after bringing in my youngest. I have since obtained a new pediatrician and will never go back to dr powers office in life. I hope their practice fails!

Very rude staff one lady named "linda".Was so rude it was on called for.When I asked her name and started to wright it down she told you better spell my name right. This lady needed mental help...Called powers she was a bitchI wouldn't let them touch me..They need mental help ASAP!!

I take both my kids to Dr. Power and she always takes the time to address my concerns and explain everything. I'm usually wary of doctors but I feel totally comfortable with Dr. Power!
