Dr. Laura Beth Schield, MD

If I could I would give her 0 stars. She seemed to have taken so much pleasure in my pain and suffering. She kept forcing very high doses of meds on me, while I was a straight A student, not a delinquent, but a 15 year old teen who hated my parents because they forced me to mother my own younger brother, all the time. She has NO empathy, as if a sociopath snuck her way into the psychiatrist's office; deeply unprofessional, and just sick on so many accounts. I really hope more victims of her "treatment" come forward and that someone will actually take her to court. People like her do not belong anywhere near fragile children's psyche. Her license should be revoked.

This woman ruined my adolescence. She put me in a group home when I was 14 and I had never done anything wrong. Never smoked, swore or drank. My parents bought into her "opinion" and didn't come to see me for three months. She had me on such high doses of multiple medication that I developed Seratonin Syndrome. This woman should not be practicing medicine. I am an adult now. It has been 20 years but the damage by her "recommendations" caused irreparable damage to my family and I. Do not take your child to this woman!!!!

Dr. Shield is an excellent doctor. She has helped my son termendously with his issues and medication.
