Dr. Laura Toso, MD

Every staff member I encountered was lovely and kind. Dr. Toso is caring and attentive to her patients in office. I have only ever needed the clinic for Gynecology visits, never any obstetrician visits.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Toso recently, and I must say, it was a truly exceptional experience that surpassed any of my previous encounters with OB/GYNs. Unlike prior experiences where appointments felt rushed and impersonal, she took the time to ask thorough questions about my family's medical history. She not only guided me through each step but also engaged in conversation, making a concerted effort to ease any apprehensions I had. We're on our IVF journey, and she's helping us through the necessary tests and providing valuable information to make sure that my medical condition is not affected in the process. Dr. Toso handled everything with professionalism and care.

Dr. Toso exemplifies professionalism and compassion in her practice as an OB/GYN. I admit that my nerves were certainly at an all-time high during my initial visit. Yet, from the moment I stepped into the exam room, her warm demeanor and comforting presence put me at ease. Despite the unforeseen challenges encountered during the examination, Dr. Toso's top priority was always my well-being. She handled the situation with grace and understanding, never once making me feel rushed or uncomfortable. Instead, she took the time to address each of my concerns and patiently answered every question I had. What I appreciate most about Dr. Toso is her genuine care for her patients. She didn't just see me as another appointment to check off her list but rather as an individual deserving of personalized attention and empathy. Even when things didn't go as planned, her kindness and professionalism shone through brightly. Her decision to reschedule not only alleviated my immediate discomfort but… also demonstrated her commitment to providing compassionate care. My experience with Dr. Toso left me feeling supported and cared for. I couldn't have asked for a better Doctor, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and thorough healthcare. I can't thank her enough for her kindness and expertise.

Dr. Toso delivered my baby through a C-section and because of her, I now have to deal with a trauma in therapy which was the biggest trauma of my life. As I was laying on the table, she did some tests to see if I was feeling anything before she cut me open and every single one of her tests were answered with a “Yes, I feel sharp pain”. She went ahead and cut me open anyways. Result: The Epidural catheter was miss placed in my back -so the anesthesia wasn’t working- and I felt the ENTIRE surgery and screamed of pain THE ENTIRE SURGERY. My whole C-section was about me screaming “STOP, I FEEL EVERYTHING, PLEASE STOP”, and not being acknowledged. I felt Dr. Toso cutting every layer of my skin and it went on... If that wasn’t traumatic and messed up enough, I also lost a lot of blood - my hemoglobin/blood count went from 12.0 to 6.0 and I got into a critical stage after surgery (A SIMPLE C-SECTION) and had to have blood transfusions. After surgery Dr. Tosso never came to the room to… clarify why everything happened the way it happened. I never heard a sorry from her or the anesthesiologist and they also lied in the reports saying that the surgery was UNEVENTFUL, NO COMPLICATIONS AND ANESTHESIA WAS ADEQUATE.

Bedside manner is horrible, and does not seem to care about patients. She had clearly not reviewed my chart before coming in (despite being a patient for over a year), she had no idea who I was. Was blatantly rude when dealing with very sensitive manner and refused to even consider my concerns. I have debated never returning to the practice at all because of her which is sad because all over individuals have been nothing but helpful.

I don’t even know where to begin. This woman was so inconsiderate. I’ve had pelvic exams before with no problem, but having one with her was the worst pain i’ve ever been in. This should not happen.
