Great staff, great doctor who listens. Always available

I like Dr. Wayne very much. But unfortunately her office staff and the staff that handles referrals (that are actually miles from the doctors office) are very incompetent. In the last few years i have had maybe a dozen or so doctor referrals, labs, scans (MRI, PET, ULTRA, CT) and almost every single time there were pain in the behind issues. like... wrong address, wrong phone numbers, no calls, no paper work, no fax's no e-mails. so many times it would take multiple days and phone calls to get it straightened out. with each side telling a different version. after a while I must conclude that it is my pcp office that is too blame. after so many other offices say they never got the paper work or the call or the e-mail or the fax. my last referral to a specialist claimed they called my doctors office over a dozen times with either no answer or no call back. it took a week of them calling and me calling DR. Wayne's office many times to finally get the necessary paper-work so i could… finally schedule an appointment. It is with a heavy heart that today i left (fired) Dr. Laura W. Wayne, for i feel she is a fine and caring doctor. Too bad she doesn't have a reliable, efficient and competent staff to go along with a good doctor.

I haven't even seen Dr. Rogers and I don't want to based on attempting to set an appointment. Having called in, the reception was uncaring at best. I asked if the Dr. was accepting new patients and upon being told yes and attempting to get information I was only asked for my insurance and billing. No appointment dates, no medical questions, no concern for why I need to see a doctor in the first place, no doctor information was provided to me as to why I would accept her as my primary doctor, just payment information (name, billing address, birthdate, insurance id, copay, insurance address). Then, it turns out that they cannot even accommodate an appointment anytime soon. When asked what would be done with all of my personal information? The response "Oh, we're keeping it in the system". I gave a total of three stars because she could be the best doctor in San Diego with better etiquette.
