Dr. Laurel Hickok Hartwell, MD

I saw Dr. Hartwell for a procedure on 7-10-19. I was somewhat nervous about the procedure and she put me completely at ease, explaining everything to me, reviewing my history, and she could not have been more caring or pleasant. The entire team at the Bend Surgery Center provided exceptional care and were extremely professional and kind. I cannot recommend Dr. Hartwell highly enough for her expertise and bedside manner and should I ever need such services in the future, I would see no one other than Dr. Laurel Hartwell.

I recently saw Dr. Hartwell for a routine colonoscopy and removal of a few polyps. She was very kind, patient, and competent. I'll seek her out for future similar procedures.

Rather than treating c diff, she believes that you should just ride out your symptoms. Tests are known to be false negative and false positive. Now I have horrible chronic gut issues.

While experiencing a previous condition, Lymphocytic Colitis, I had a somewhat urgent to see the doctor. I wound up getting an appointment 11 weeks later !! and was told to resume taking the meds previously prescribed, It now been 8 weeks and my condition has not improved and I still have to wait 3 more weeks to see the doc. My emails don't get answered and my calls go to voicemail.

Dr Hartwell has a great bedside manner and takes her time with a very non rushed exam. I highly recommend her.
