Dr. Laurel Trotter provides a full range of general and cosmetic dentistry. Her primary goal is to make dental treatment as low stress as possible. Dr. Trotter received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2009 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She was invited into the honor societies of Tau Kappa Omega, Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Phi Beta Phi, and she graduated with high honors among the top 5 in her class. She was awarded 1st place for excellence in removable prosthodontics, and was presented with the Dr. William W.Y. Goon Student Dentistry Award for excellence in endodontics and clinical sciences. Following graduation, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Veteran’s Affairs hospital in Palo Alto, …California. She has spent time since in both private practice, and as a staff dentist for the VA.
She maintains membership in the Western Los Angeles Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
In her free time, Dr. Trotter enjoys surfing, skiing, hiking with her dog, and travelling. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Trotter spent 8 years working as a veterinary technician. She continues to volunteer with and support local and national animal rescue organizations.
