Dr. Laurel Ellis Tucker, MD

Dr. Tucker is a wonderful doctor and I consider her a dear friend for all the care she took with my care. Her assistant is also equally as caring. Her front staff on the other hand needs more training on how to handle phone situations that are of urgent nature.

Dr Tucker is the absolute best! Wonderful "bedside manner", so easy to talk to, caring, accurate, thorough and timely diagnosis. Almost no wait time in the office. Quick response after calling the office with a question.

Dr. Tucker treats me like I am a person, not a robot!

She is very compassionate, thoughtful and treats me as if she is my best friend. She was my Dr. for about 7 years then I moved to WI and truly missed her. I was gone for over 2 years and recently came home and the first thing I done was set up an appointment with Dr. Tucker. She takes the time to really talk to you about anything and everything, I just love her to death! She just has a way to get me to follow through with my wellness plans and preventive screenings.

I found Dr. Tucker through my insurance plan and liked that her office was close to where I lived at the time. She has ALWAYS been very thorough and caring through lots of differing medical situations including a cancer diagnosis. Her nurse Julie is a doll and all of the staff is top notch in my opinion. I prefer to schedule afternoon visits and have never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes. Occasionally I have met with her assistant practitioner who emulates the professionalism of Dr. Tucker. Also very important are her referrals to specialists in the Town & Country network... also very professional and giving excellent care. I have since moved out of her area but still prefer to keep her as my primary care doctor. To the patient that had one unpleasant visit ...Stuff happens...Flu season alone can easily wipe out ANY office staff and make patient visits less than positive. I would recommend giving Dr. Tucker another try. Your life may depend on it.

Bad memories. spent little time with me. Rushes through to next patient. Doesn't seem to care much about her patients. Not a reliable family practice.

Totally disagree with previous review, and question it's validity. I have been with Doctor Tucker for 3 years and she saved my life. I was misdiagnosed with RediClinic and almost died. I got rid of the doctor there and it was suggested by a co-worker to go to Doctor Tucker. She quickly diagnosed me with pneumonia and started procedures immediately to save my life. I was in trouble by the time RediClinic's computer system diagnosed me with a cold and the computer also suggested a mild antibiotic medication. The doctor just typed in the symptoms and computer did the rest. I watched this. When I went to Dr Tucker, she was thorough and explained the test results to me and got me the help and medication I needed immediately. Saved my life. Since then, she has always been thorough and followed up with me. Her staff is great too, and I have never waited more than 15 minutes even when I was early for an appointment.

I considered myself to have Dr. Tucker as my doctor. I am a tough patient - just don't like to go to the doctor and have all those tests done. Dr. Tucker is very patient with me. She is extremely caring - has helped me tremendously in understanding my grief after the loss of my grandson. I would definitely recommend her. Her nurse is great and the office staff is extremely caring.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DR. TUCKER FOR MANY YEARS NOW................SHE HAS GONE THROUGH MANY PROBLEMS WITH ME OVER THE YEARS AND HAS ADDRESSED EACH AND EVERYONE UNTIL IT HAS REACHED A CONCLUSION OF WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE.SHE IS A VERY CARING DOCTOR ..........I HAVE SENT MANY PATIENTS TO HER BECAUSE OF ALL THE ABOVE CRITERIA AND THEY ARE QUITE HAPPY WITH HER ALSO.IF YOU METION DR. TUCKER YOU HAVE TO MENTION JULIE AND THE ENTIRE STAFF..........
