I will give a ZERO star if there is such an option here. I will definitely stay away from her for the rest of my life !!!

I fully agree the other review posted here -- "unethical, unprofessional, inattentive and simply HORRIBLE doctor in every way".

I called her office to confirm what time my appointment was for and was told that it was CANCELED. I didn't see any missed incoming calls from her office stating that my appointment was canceled. If she couldn't contact me by phone (the clerical staff does that anyhow) she could have sent a text, email or mail me a letter if the voice mailbox was full. If I didn't call to confirm exactly what time it was, I would have went there for nothing. Not a bad doctor, but not great either. 15 minutes of time is all I get to explain a whole list of symptoms and meds. The staff is friendly enough and her office is nice, but what happened was unprofessional on her behalf. If anybody misses an appointment, she doesn't like it and will tell you that she loses money, or that another patient could have used the appointment. She's right in that sense, but the same srespect should be given to her patients. After reading a couple of bad reviews (and they sounded very serious) I am thinking about changing… doctors. She's nice enough, but her bedside manner needs to improve.

Worst doctor. Refuses to do annual blood work when I ask year after year and tells me it’s because of a health crisis of testing people too often. Once a year is not too often!! Ever heard of preventable healthcare? Avoid her at all costs.

I had to switch PCP because of my insurance and switched to Dr. Acinapura. I happened to find a lump on my breast the day i saw her for my physical. it was the quickest physical ever. no bloodwork, no urine test. when i asked her why, she said it is unnecessary unless patients have weird symptons. That's warning sign #1. Then because of my lump, she prescribed a mammogram for me. I went for my mammograph and the radiologist told me it looked suspicious and went ahead and did an ultrasound and a biopsy and told me I should get the result from my PCP Dr Acinapura in a week. She never called me when she got the results. I had to get the results from the radiologist which was MALIGNANT! and the radiologist was SHOCKED that my PCP didn't bother calling me with the MALIGNANT result. the nightmore goes on. I called Dr Acinapura's office to get referrals for breast surgeons and oncologist. Clearly, i didn't need to see her and only needed referrals. She refused to give me the… referrals unless I went in. I did and she charged me $600 for the visit just to tell me my results are malignant and NEVER bothered to apologize for not contacting me with the results. It gets worse. She told me she already made an appt for me with a breast surgeon who accepted my insurance. the appt was a week away. I found another surgeon and squeeze me in immediately and went to the OTHER surgeon that Dr Acinapura recommended. And guess what? The surgeon did not accept my insurance. and I had to pay cash for the visit. Dr. Acinapura is a unethical, unprofessional, inattentive and simply HORRIBLE doctor in every way. To not contact me when she received my malignant result? then refused to take my call and made me go in just to hear the result which I already got from the radiologist? and to charge me $600 for that visit? then sent me to a surgeon who didn't accept my insurance? I had breast cancer and that is the last doctor you would want near you or anyone you care about. just when you think she can't get worse, she outdoes herself. HORRIBLE doctor and horrible human being. She should lose her medical license!
