Lauren Bauer Maher, MD, MPH, MS

Dr. Maher was born and raised in the Greater Milwaukee area. She attended undergraduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her medical school training at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She completed her residency training at the University of New Mexico Family and Community Medicine Residency in Albuquerque, NM and then finished a two-year Academics and Primary Care Research Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is committed to advancing health equity and strives to truly be a community-responsive physician.My greatest joy in medicine is being able to walk with patients on their health journeys as we work together to achieve optimal health. I strive to serve my patients in a holistic manner, finding evidence-based treatment plans that make the most sense in their lives.
