Lauren Bedney, MD

Lauren Bedney, MD (previously Lauren Pedersen-Buck) is a board-certified family medicine physician with AdventHealth Medical Group in Apopka. She joined our group from Madison, TN, where she was serving as a neighborhood health services physician supervising multiple nurse practitioners and providing outpatient care including prenatal care. Dr. Bedney earned her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her family medicine residency at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) in Orlando. She is an active community volunteer who has often donated her medical services to charitable endeavors such as the AdventHealth after-hours free clinic, Project HOPE (a mentoring program for teen parents) and the Inner-City Youth Program of the Del Rosa Seventh-day Adventist Church. She is conversant in medical Spanish.
