Summary
I received my education at the University of Utah and am currently working as a physical therapist with a focus on orthopedics. I have been practicing orthopedics for nine years. Following a complicated soccer injury in high school that almost resulted in the amputation of my lower leg, I had little hope of returning to sports or running again. I found myself in physical therapy for the following year, where I was able to regain mobility and function that exceeded my expectations. That experience has motivated me to help the patients I work with by creating individualized plans of care that will allow them to return to their best level of function, whether that's lifting a grandchild or getting back to sports.
I grew up in Washington, and although I sometimes miss the greenery, I love the sun that Utah has to offer. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children—hiking, playing outside, and watching movies.
