Dr. Lauren Merle Cooper, MD

Dr. Cooper is my favorite doctor. She knows her stuff and I have been going to her for decades for acne and then skin exams. This time, as I was in the treatment room getting my skin checked for suspicious moles, I noticed a poster for Botox on the wall. I asked her about it and took a chance. She did it right there at the same visit and I look GREAT. Thank you, Dr. Cooper.

In my opinion, she used to be good. Now she is rude, in a rush and interrupts. Probably time to hang it up.

Dr. Cooper was so preoccupied with covid status she was incapable of providing a complete exam. If she was in the room a total of 3 minutes that’s a lot. I’ve been seeing her for 20 years and never have I been treated so poorly. A complete mile check of my entire body was done in a minute or less. I don’t feel she could possibly have seen anything in the amount of time she spent scanning me. Very disappointing.

I write this review as a warning. Dr. Cooper was my derm for over 7 years and I went faithfully for my yearly skin checks. I had a spot on my leg that she said looked ok and not to worry about it. She said the same thing year after year. I've since moved and went to a new doctor and when she looked at that spot she immediately biopsied it. It came back as a melanoma! I just had invasive surgery and I hope that the surgeon has saved my life. Dr. Cooper's cavalier and lazy attitude has cost me dearly. She should retire before she ruins someone else's life.

Dr. Cooper is a wonderful doctor: knowledgeable, skilled, and caring in working with and educating her patients. I've had two appointments with her, and each time she explained everything she was doing, answered all my questions, clarified my options, and offered useful suggestions. Her staff has also been helpful and unfailingly kind.

I waited 3 months for an appointment to see Dr. Cooper for a routine cancer screening. The visit lasted maybe 3 minutes. She blew into the exam room, spoke to me (and over me) like an auctioneer, examined me as if she were being timed, and was about to blow out of the room without ever having addressed a specific concern I had raised with her at the outset of the visit. I had to stop her, in order to show her the visible, and palpable lump on my leg. She had missed it entirely during her speed-exam. A careless doctor is likely a negligent one...

Really unstandstand what her patients wants, make you feel good and would never change to any other doctor

Dr. Cooper is a wonderful doctor. She is a skilled dermatologist and diagnosed and treated my melanoma.

Dr. Cooper's work and "expertise" is wonderful and artistic.

I have been a patient of Dr. L. Coopers for 20 years and have always been very happy with her professional manner and excellent diagnosis. The staff too is kind.
