Dr. Lauren Elizabeth Evans

Seemed rushed, disorganized and uncaring, and her office staff talked badly about her behind her back.

I visited for the first time for gallbladder pain. Dr. Evans was uninterested in finding the cause of the pain, stating that it couldn't be gallstones, but she did order blood work. After an ultrasound somewhere else, where I was informed of my MANY gallstones, I returned to Dr. Evans. She proceeded to tell me everything looked good and I was healthy, despite my ultrasound results on the top of my chart, that she hadn't even bothered to read. I had to inform HER of my diagnosis, not vice versa.When I did have surgery to have my gallbladder removed, my surgeon informed me that when Dr. Evans had initially ordered blood work and told me it was all normal, that it was, in fact, NOT normal. My surgeon informed me that at that time, I'd had an elevated pancreatic enzyme, which indicated early stages of pancreatitis, a common but dangerous result of gallstones. However, Dr. Evans had ignored this fact and lied to me about my blood work results. Perhaps Dr. Evans needs a refresher course in… medicine. She was rude, condescending, and obviously uninterested in diagnosing my severe pain. Just avoid.
