Lauren is a licensed professional counselor who loves being able to help others. Lauren has a genuine passion and love for seeing others happy and thriving in life and wants to help clients get to and become the best version of themselves that they can be. Lauren identifies mostly with a person-centered therapeutic approach but understands the need for other approaches such as CBT, solution focused, DBT, etc. Lauren understands that every person is unique and therefore needs different therapeutic interventions in order to allow for a successful therapeutic experience.
Lauren has worked in a variety of mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, intensive outpatient programs, and foster care agencies. These different settings have given Lauren the opportunity to work with a very diverse population across all age groups.
Some of Lauren’s areas of interest and expertise include depression, anxiety, family issues, stress management, relationship challenges, …behavioral modification, emotional regulation, and crisis management. Lauren looks forward to working with you and helping you achieve your mental health goals.
When Lauren is not working she enjoys family movie nights and self-care days at the spa.
