Dr. Lauren Jean Halby, MD

I have been seeing Dr Halby for at least 8 years and she diagnosed my illness immediately. I had see two other Drs and an ER and they missed the diagnosis. Dr Halby got me back on my feet without too many RXs. She is terrific and knows her stuff. She listens to you and wants to know what you want to do before she tells you what you need to do and I SO appreciate that. Dr Halby works with you to help you, not against you. She is a terrific doctor and don't know what I would do without her.

I selected Dr, Halby as my primary care physician as my husband has been seeing her for some time. She has a horrible bediside manner and makes me feel as if my health concerns are not valid. Not interested in speaking to me about issues, more interested in where she can refer me out to. Great for people that just want a quick check or annual physical, not so much for peole with health issues (which is what I thought doctors were for and concerned with).

Went in with print outs regarding exercise and diet that I had tracked for a month. she didnt even look at them, and her bottom line was "eat less, exercise more" Diagnosed with thyroid issues. She rushes in and out.

Dr. Halby starts the session with a smile and a sincere approach to asking what ails you.

I have been seeing Dr. Halby for over 5 years and I have never had a negative experience. Dr. Halby is always very pleasant to talk with and she has never rushed through an appointment.

I have seen Dr. Halby 4 or 5 times over the last 3 or 4 years. I have never had a serious illness aside from mild pneumonia but every time I have gone to see her I leave angry. Her bedside attitude is terrible. I have never felt like she genuinely cared about me as a patient. Even if I go in for a minor illness I still deserve to be treated with care and respect. I was still trying to talk to her about the appointment I had today as she said something as she walked out of the room essentially ending the appointment. I knew it was going to be a quick appointment since I just needed a doctor note for work but to walk out while I was still speaking is unacceptable. I will be transferring my records as soon as I find another primary care physician. Not as big of a deal, but the office has never made any follow up calls for any appointment.

I have seen this doctor quite a few times and wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. But after every time I see her I feel like it's a waste of time and my money. I feel like I'm rushed. She never wants to diagnose, just refer to a specialist. I was in pain and I just feel like she didn't even care.

Outstanding family physician. I cannot recommend her enough. Always able to provide great referalls (pain, sleep study, ortho, ENT).

I have been a patient for a few years and had fairly average visits for the most part. That all changed when it was discovered that I had a mass on my liver and had to go in for a biopsy to see what was wrong. Dr. Halby was very attentive to me during this scary time. She made herself available any time that I called with questions and that really helped me feel like she genuinely cared about me. I would recommend her to anyone.

She is the worst doctor ever. I was treated as a hypochondriac. She blamed all symptoms on my weight (approx 200 lbs) and the altitude. When obtaining a second opinion, my real diagnosis was hypothyroidism and cardiomyopathy. My heart ejection fraction was 28%. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.
