Dr. Lauren Madge Handelman, MD

Dr. Handelman was the first doctor to correctly diagnose that I had had untreated mild asthma for years. She is a thoughtful person who always listens to my needs and symptoms. She is also a problem solver with the many issues related to health insurance.

Entire staff is warm, comforting, efficient. Urgent care issues are dealt with immediately, I find this most impressive. I am impressed with not only their care for me but also my children who they have carwed for the last 10 years. Also their follow up is thorough, they check on you regularly.

Dr Handelman diagnosed my daughter with peanut allergy. She told me the results as if she was telling me she had a cold. She has zero compassion, made me feel extremely rushed, barely answered any of my questions. She made me very uncomfortable. Also, her staff is incompetent. I played phone tag with the office for 2 weeks for lab results, and they are very rude.

I believe Dr. Handelman saved my life, literally. While I have serious allergy and ashmtha problems, she was the only dr. I consulted who suggested that some of my shortness of breath issues could be due to a hear condition. I ultimately went to a cardiologist who discovered a 100% blockage in one of my arteries. I had a stent put in and feel a lot better. She is extremely conscientious and professional.

Dr. Handelman is amazing! She is thorough , careful and a very good communicator. She has been treating my kids and so far their allergy symptoms are in very good control. I appreciate her taking her time for her patients. The staff and nurse there are great too.
