Lauren Ugarte, MD

Dr. Lauren Raybould Kelly Ugarte is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School who specializes in perioperative anesthesia and comprehensive anesthetic care for infants, children, and adolescents undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures. She serves in the Department of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Medicine and is affiliated with programs including the Perioperative Care Coordination Clinic. Dr. Kelly Ugarte earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and is board certified in both general anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. In addition to her clinical work, she contributes to medical education and research focused on pediatric perioperative care, airway management, and improving safety and outcomes for children undergoing anesthesia and surgery.
