Dr. Lauren Michelle Muchorski, DO

She was so caring and took the time to understand my father’s medical issues and pull in the appropriate specialists. She spent a lot of time talking to me and helping us find avenues to fill my father’s medical needs. I appreciate her expertise, urgency and bedside manner.

Worst ER visit ever. This lazy Dr Muchorski did not even evaluate me during the 5 hour visit to the ER. I've been battling kidney stones and had a recent surgery with complications so I was expecting a little pain relief when I went to the ER. When I asked the nurse when the Dr was going to come in she said the Dr wasn't taking anymore patients. I waited in agony for 4 hours before anyone would give me pain meds. After I got a shot of Torodol the pain subsided. The morning Dr wanted to give me some (dilodid)?, but I didn't want a strong narcotic. Dr Lauren Muchorski should be ashamed of herself. She knowingly let a patient suffer while knowing said patient just had a surgery four days prior. She is a disgrace.

Came to ER with sever groin pain, testicles pain, scrotum pain, discomfort urinating, flatulence and frequent diarrhea. The condition persisted several months but recently became very severe. Was diagnosed by Ms. Muchorski with constipation and prescribed Miralax (I guess to loosen stool even more to help my diarrhea). When I asked for urologist, Dr. Muchorski refused, saying that she should be enough. From medication she gave Motrin which absolutely did not help. Spent the whole night in pain in ER and came back home with more sever pain. When I came home I retrieved tests results describing high WBC, low RBC, and some other not so good numbers, which at least should have been concerning and should ring a bell for more study. Absolute incompetence.

The absolute worst Er Dr on the planet based on our family’s experience. If I could give zero stars I would. Dr Muchorski prescribed my elderly Mom a drug for shingles, Valtrex, with known side effects for patients w renal issues. Should also be prescribed w caution to the elderly. According to my Mother’s critical care Dr at St Mary’s, this prescription was the sole cause of the following chain of events., renal failure (Mom has one kidney), UTI, low sodium, high heart rate, delirium, unresponsiveness, ICU w intubation, failed extubation, emergent reintubation, congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, re-entry into CCU, where it was a struggle to balance low blood pressure and high heart rate, do not resuscitate parameters given to us, a chest tube to drain mucous and a bed sore, In total, a one month hospital stay and 2 weeks rehab and needless suffering, all due to Dr Muchorski’ s irresponsible prescription. This could have easily killed my Mom had she not rallied from death’s… door and we could be having a different conversation. First negative review I’ve ever written and only doing that so this does not happen to someone else. Please do better and more careful in the future Dr Muchorski!
