She was given early entrance into the Dental School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. The Dental School ranked #1 in US News & World Report’s last ranking printed in 1996. Dr. Phan-Vandersloot received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001, graduating Summa Cum Laude, completing the Honors Program, and ranking third in her class.
She then continued her training by receiving a Specialty Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry in 2003. Dr. Phan-Vandersloot has contributed to nationally published research in the field of Endodontics and has given several oral presentations in her field. She has provided root canal therapy to patients in a diverse setting ranging from General Dental Practice to large Dental Clinics to Specialty Private Practice for over …a decade.
Dr. Phan-Vandersloot is a Specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, Southern Alameda County Dental Society, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.
