Lauren Scheeler, PA-C, specializes in all aspects of pediatric neurosurgery, including hydrocephalus and Chiari malformations as well as brain tumors, bleeds and lesions. She also provides pre- and postoperative surgical care for children and teens with epilepsy, spine abnormalities like myelomeningocele, genetic conditions and cranial-facial conditions and traumas.The Doctor of Medical Science degree Ms. Scheeler earned from the University of Lynchburg underscores her passion for improving patient care. "I'm very lucky to work with numerous multidisciplinary clinics making sure patients get the best neurosurgical care possible," she says.Coming from a family of attending physicians, Ms. Scheeler was inspired to join the healthcare field from a young age.
