One of the best doctor's I've had in years

Stood with his back to me during entire visit, hurried through his questions, declined to order overdue mammogram or requested mental health referral which I asked for twice, just wanted to get me out of his office as quick as possible.

I like Dr. Smith !No nonsense, direct to the point with a straight forward view of life's problems & cures. He knows his medicine. Great sense of humor. Comfortable to be my MD. Thanks.

Dr. Smith has been my doctor for over 15 years and I greatly appreciate his competence. He has been 100% correct on his diagnosis of my medical problems. I also like his approach to problem solving. Start with the simple and obvious first. Depending on the results of this, make further decisions. I plan on keeping him as my family physician.

He assumes much. Does little.

I went to see Dr. Lauren Smith as I had a CT scan that showed pelvic lesions on my ovaries. Dr. Smith stood in the corner and said what do you want me to do. So, me the patient had to tell him that I needed a referral to a gynecologist and to whom to refer me to. I also had to tell him to order an ultrasound. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t even sit as this puts too much pressure on the lesions. Dr. Smith didn’t exam me at all. I would like to know if graduated last in his class after all those who graduate last in their class from med school are still called Dr.

Worst doctor in ionia county does not examine at all talks to personal and just perscribes meds without knowing what the cause.

I'm 60 years old and have lived in 14 different states and have been to many different doctors. I have had major heart surgery and two femoral artery bypasses. I also have been to prison. Dr. Smith is the second worse doctor I have ever encountered. One prison doctor was worse. But one prison doctor was far better than Smith. Being a heart patient when I get a cold it goes straight to my chest and normally a doctor would prescribe me a strong antibiotic. Calling Smiths office and telling his staff of my situation and that someone close to me had recently had heart surgery, it being impertinent that I see the doctor soon. I was told it would be at least a week before I could get in to see him. Totally unacceptable! One time the doctor told me he had a foot fetish. If not for the poor insurance I have, I would never revisit his office again.
