I am a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the age of 5, after listening to my mother's heartbeat through a stethoscope, I knew I wanted to become a physician. I was blessed to have parents who nurtured my interest in medicine. Consequently, I was able to attend an accelerated medical program and achieve my dream. While in medical school, I enjoyed studying all aspects of medicine but soon discovered that my interests and talents lay in listening to the life stories of patients grappling with mental health issues. Through my work, I became intimately acquainted with the social stigma of mental illness and began to advocate for patient and family education, timely diagnosis, and treatment. I've dedicated my life to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care to all of my patients.

Dr. Walton took her time to give me a proper diagnosis. Most doctors I had seen in the past just gave me meds but she got to know me and my needs. She also calls you on sh** when she sees they are harmful habits. I have been sober because she helped me get to the root of my issues. Dr. Walton will change your life in such a positive way. It will take work to confront your issues but she makes it so much easier. She has a gift for medication prescription, she gave me just the right dosage. I was able to start peeling off the layers of past traumas and memories I take tucked away. Therapy sessions with a MFT seemed easier knowing she monitored my progress. She will Truly change your life, I thank the universe that she exists.

Dr. Walton shows great caring and emphanty. She has a way on how to speak to her patients that make them feel comfortable. My wife was a patient of hers and everytime she completed a session with her, my wife felt happy and very pleased. An excellent therapist.
