Dr. Laurence Joseph Colletti, DDS

Laurence J. Colletti, D.D.S.
Dr. Colletti has provided specialty orthodontic care in Colorado since 1987. Dr. Colletti’s education includes degrees from: the United States Air Force Academy, the University of Southern California, Baylor College of Dentistry, and Louisiana State University.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Upon graduation, Dr. Colletti continued his military affiliation in both an active and reserve status. He has served his country as an Air Force Pilot, Air Force Wing Flight Safety Officer, Army Medical Officer, Army Dental Officer and he is a veteran of Desert Storm.
After six years of active duty Air Force, Dr. Colletti elected to continue his education on a full-time basis. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree (Magna Cum Laude), from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1985. He was elected to membership on Omicron Kappa Upsilon (Dental Honor Society), and selected “High Point …Senior” for the Xi Phi Dental Fraternity, based on scholarship and achievement.
Dr. Colletti is an Associate Professor of the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine Orthodontic Residency Program. He has served as the orthodontic consultant for the Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center Cleft Lip and Palate Team, as an orthodontist for the medical missions of Operation Smile – an international program for the correction of facial deformities, as a board member of the local chapter of Operation Smile, as two-time chairman for the charity event “Ski for Smile,” and provided orthodontic treatment for many of the orphans living in Constanta, Romania. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Boulder Dental Society, American Association of Orthodontists, and Rocky Mountain Orthodontic Society. He has most recently completed the McLaughlin Program, a two-year program committed to an orthodontic treatment philosophy committed to an advanced approach to patient care using diagnostics, treatment and case management.
The Doctor is the father of three great kids: Laurence, Sarah and son-in-law Matt. Laurence lives and works in Denver as a lawyer and is founder and owner of a web-based company, www.bigdaddymaps.com. Sarah lives in Las Vegas while Matt is currently stationed in Iraq. She has her MBA, which helps her to find many new and interesting jobs as she follows Matt around his many assignments in the USAF as an F-16 pilot.
Dr. Colletti thoroughly enjoys the life style Colorado offers. He is an avid snow boarder, runner, cyclist and mountain climber.
