Dr. Laurence Mirels, MD is an infectious disease specialist in San Jose, CA and has been practicing for 27 years. He graduated from University Of California, San Francisco, School Of Medicine in 1992 and specializes in infectious disease medicine. Thank you all for your collaborative efforts in coming up with the best alternative method to treat Huong (the patient) ’s rare case of Cocci meningitis and cocci-induced CNS vasculitis. We have never seen well-known doctors and leading industry Infection Disease ID experts such as Dr. Mirels (a heartfelt Thank You to him) for consulting, guiding, and overseeing the LP procedure held every Friday at VA Palo Alto Hospital performed by ID and neurologists from Stanford and VA Hospital. Words alone can’t simply describe how appreciative and respectful we are to Dr. Mirels, a leading expert and well known in Cocci meningitis field.
