Dr. Laurence Franklin Yee, MD

This individual runs a mill that runs patients through an assembly line. My elderly wife was referred to Dr. Yee for a routine colon resection after a small early stage tumor was discovered during a colonscopy. She was in excellent health but suffered from Atrial Fibrillation, a condition documented in her medical records, one that makes surgery counter indicated except in the most serious circumstances that did not exist in her case. After driving three hours for a consultation with him, we were floored when a member of his staff asked us whether we had brought the file with us. During a brief meeting with Dr. Yee in his office it became immediately apparent he knew nothing about my wife's case and for the first time in our presence reviewed her medical records on his computer, but at no point were her particular health conditions inquired into. Two weeks later she returned for the surgery, but had a stroke the morning after she was released from CPMC and died two weeks later.

Dr. Yee is my favorite doctor. He is not only a great surgeon, he has an amazing personality and really cares about his patients. I am always treated with tender loving care by Dr. Yee and his staff. 5+ stars to Dr. Yee!
