Dr. Laurie Susan Conklin, MD

There are no words to describe how fantastic Dr. Conklin is as a doctor. We were nervous when they switched us over at Children's Hospital. Boy were we wrong. She turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to our family. She treated my son with Crohn's disease for 4 years and my daughter newly diagnosed with Crohn's for a year before she retired. We were so sad to hear she was retiring. No other doctor will ever come close to the compassion, care and treatment we received. I wish her all the best in her future. She deserves it.

Dr. Conklin helped us through a very difficult period in our lives. My Daughter was diagnosed with Crohn's when she was 12 and Dr. Conklin was there with us all the way. My daughter is now twenty and just transferred from Children's Hospital to an adult hospital. Her kind spirit and intellect consistently reassured me that my child was in good hands. Good luck Dr. Conklin with your new endeavor. You are an Angel!

I really didn't see any interest in finding a diagnosis for my kid.

As the parent of a child whose life has gone from dismal to THRIVING as a result of Dr. Conkin's care I know she is the Best of the Best. A truly dedicated, caring, excellent Physician and Person. I take offense to the first persons comments and find the description so out of character to Dr. Conklin that I believe the Author is more than likely a green eyed college posing as a parent

My daughter was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis a year ago by Dr. Conklin at the age of 8. It was heartbreaking with a month long hospital stay. Dr. Conklin was wonderful and she made sure that everything was being done to help my daughter. She has an excellent bedside manner with the children and parents. We wouldn't trade her for anything!
