Dr. Hanschu graduated from the University of California, San Francisco in 1982. Prior to studying at UCSF Dental School, she attended the University of California, Berkeley graduating with a degree in Physiology. Dr. Hanschu has been practicing for over 25 years with 23 years in her current location. Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Hanschu has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. She is a board member and frequent lecturer for the Multidisciplinary Alliance for Professional Success, a group that sponsors high quality professional education for local dentists. Dr. Hanschu has over taken over 150 hours of continuing education in the past 2 years. She is currently a member of the Spear Education Faculty Club and a Spear Study Club in Sacramento. She has received training from John Kois, Frank …Spear, the Pankey Institute, CORE and training in premium dentures from the Geneva Instutite. Dr. Hanschu was recently voted TOP DENTIST by her professional peers in a survey conducted by Sacramento Magazine. Outside of the office, she enjoys singing with the Sacramento Master Singers, tennis, skiing, cycling, cooking and spending time with her husband, Jim.
