My son has adhd & autism spectrum disorder. She wants to see him every 3 months to make sure his meds & everything is okay. I'll admit I hate having to go every three months but it makes me feel better that she wnats to be sure he is okay. She is thoughtful, listens to me & him and I've never had a problem with this office.

You will immedicately like this doctor because she seems nice and offers intelligent suggestions as to diagnosis.I started my daughter with her when she was 9months old. My daughter is now 9yrs old. I spent an entire year in-out of doc's office with my daughter sick every 3 days while in daycare and every 3 weeks after I decided to stay at home with her.Not until I insisted 1yr later for my daughter to see a specialist for symptoms I'd reported for 1yrs time...did the diagnosis of "asthma" miraculously get pronouced.This is just one in many such instances I experienced that left me feeling patronized like a mother who was over excited..when I was completely the opposite.One min, I was scolded for bringing my daughter in for a virus too early...7days after onset of pressure behind the heart...the next I was scolded for waiting too long to bring her in for virus symptoms 14days after onset...I brought her in only when pain in my daughter's ears started and needed antibiotic. Fluids… and food I had been able to provide and keep down...antiobiotics I did not have and could not prescribe so...only then did I make an appt.This is not even to discuss the crapy treatment the oncall doctors provided when Dr. Harris-Ford was frequently unavailable.But bottom line...I think 9yrs was a fair evaluation. Dr. Harris-Ford never figured out that my daughter was allergic to feathers...just put her on an inhaler and steroids and no follow up. Used Asthma as excuse for every other viral infection with strange symptoms my daughter got. This then turned into bacterial secondary lung infection because they just told me to keep her out of heat and activity low to prevent asthma from causing chest spasms.Once I removed feathers...ALL asthma symptoms ...including coughing at night and getting sick every 3wks...disappeared!!!
