Dr. Laurie Rosenberg Karpf, MD

Dr Karpf is a wonderful psychiatrist. She knows her meds. She is kind and compassionate with all ages. I have referred her quite a few times and never heard anything negative.

Dr. Karpf takes an incredible amount of time to learn about you. She listens. She responds to questions and concern between visits. She is a wonderful doctor. I highly recommend her. She has made my life so much better.

Dr. Karpf is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. She is wonderful with my son and he absolutely loves her. She returns calls promptly, is extremely knowledgeable and is very interested in our concerns. We recently had an issue where my son was having a problem and needed additional medication and she called us daily to check on him. I have taken my son to see many physicians and she is by far one of the best.

over talkative. nervous wreck, she needs to be on the other side of the prescription pad. forgetful and has asked my son at least 4 different times if he is in the 4th grade (that was 2 years ago when we started seeing her. No matter how many times he correct her, she asks him about 4th grade.) She was very good about prescribing him accurate medications but it wasn't worth the headache or my son's mood each month on the day of his appointment.

Completely dissatisfied. She should not interact with patients. Repetitive, forgetful, interrupts, anxious, even unprofessional at times. Would not return. We went for 3 visits DISASTER

Been seeing Dr. Karpf for awhile and she has helped me tremendously. Thanks to her I can have a normal life.

Does not listen, does not retain information from one appointment to the next. Asks the EXACT same questions over and over again, as well as denigrating. Doesn't read notes before appointment. Talks but obviously does not listen.

Dr. Karpf has helped my children with their anxiety and for that I am thankful. We recommend her highly.

Kind, patient, thorough. Takes a great amount of time to listen and give feedback. Highly recommend!

My experience with Dr Karpf has been clinical. She is good at diagnosing and treating the disorder but is not very good at listening. She asks lots of questions about your performance in school but does not really try to understand your feelings.
