Dr. Laurie Shirman Molinda, MD

I have found Dr Molinda to be very professional and helpful. I have a chronic condition in which I see another doctor and she has coordinated my treatment with them. I would highly recommend her.

I really like Dr. Molinda. To share, I was really upset one day during an appointment and she was very comforting and seemed genuinely concerned. I've lost 72 lbs so far and she has helped me on this journey. I get very excited to have my appointments and share my recent weight losses with her!

Last year my wife had the unfortunate experience of having her as hospital attending doctor. My wife wouldn't let me run molinda off. She didn't get better until molinda was gone. It concerns me that molinda is allowed to practice medicine on humans. I believe she did exactly what the coal company wanted her to do to save money.

Going without treatment is a viable alternative to this practice and Laurie Molinda. She is a blight on the Profession and is a Case Study on what an incompetent Physician is.

I had an urgent issue and my regular physician was not available for another week or so; Dr. Molinda saw me within 24 hours. My case is complicated by certain chronic conditions, but Dr. Molinda had records of my health history on hand during the visit and considered all of that in diagnosing my issue. The appointment was for 2p on a Friday afternoon and I was scheduled to leave the following morning for 9 days of travel. Dr. Molinda quickly provided a likely diagnosis, facilitated X-rays that same afternoon and sent a prescription to my pharmacy for medicine to relive the condition. Within 2 hours, I had meds (which did relieve the symptoms) and had completed X-rays. Very efficient. I could not have been better cared for on such notice anywhere.

There is poor bedside manner, and then there is borderline abusive. Reviews tend to be one extreme or the other of positivity and negativity; I have never written an online negative review thinking people need to form their own opinions from their own experiences, and my experience may have caught someone on a day when they weren't their best. However, my interactions with Dr. Molinda clearly were not "a bad day" but gave me concerns her philosophy of patient care does not include advocacy, compassion, or even a commitment to staying current with medical trends. She is practicing in the Robinson office of the Fattigati Nalin practice, and after my horrific experience, I can see why it's so easy to schedule an appointment in that office compared to their other offices. So sad that such a reputable practice is allowing such an inhumane new provider in their practice be attached to their name.

Worst Dr.I have ever met.No bedside manner condescending attitude.Acted like I was a huge inconvience.Also check your insurance statement I was charged for services I didnot recieve! Office staff not very nolagable actually hung up on me because I dissagreed with a comment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere anywhere else!

Doesn't listen to patients, talks to you like u don't know anything. Office staff told me I didn't need my apt if I didn't have any issues that needed addressed, then I call to get my med refills for medicine that I need or I will be nauseous and sick from my acid reflux issue and 4 hours later no meds called in, call back to see what's up cause they said they would call if there was a problem and they tell me she won't call them in because I need to be seen. Can't get me in for an entire week, I scheduled and said they would let the Dr know and see if she'll call them in and she didn't, it's Friday and I'm screwed till next Fri cause they are now closed for the weekend. It's heartburn meds not narcotics don't see why it's an issue. Can never get in when needed. Then when do have an issue and u get there she says so what's the problem, u tell her then she says I don't understand what u want me to do about it. Ummm...I don't know, help me since ur my doctor!!

The first visit was just very medical, but if you don't want some things written in black and white do not say them because it is all written on your profile. So nothing is confidential between you and the doctor. The doctor nor the staff explain anything to you about tests you have to have, what will happen during it or otherwise. The doctor calls in prescriptions to the pharmacy with out telling you about it. No sympathy at all and in my opinion doesn't really care to hear about it unless she can refer you for a test. Bottom line don't tell her you're sad because she doesn't care. The reason why you can get an appointment so fast, in my opinion is that after the first appointment people don't come back. I know I will never go back to Dr. Laurie S. Molinda.....

Friendly office staff. Dr. Molinda was extremely judicial and opinionated - negatively! Very unfriendly. Horrible beside manner, not personable. Accusatory! Did not listen.
