Dr. Laurie Jane Poss

I knew dr. poss was good, but I didn't know just how good until I had to find a new primary care doc. All the other docs simply refer you to wpecialists depemding on which organ you complain about. Dr. Poss was knowldegable about EVERYTHING. She had uncanny diagnostic skills and treated everything herself referring only when she needed consultation or special procedures. She listened when you spoke; my new doctor just looks at her computer monitor. She is sorely missed by me and all of her old patiets that I know.

Really bad experience. One time I went there for an appointment and the office was closed and locked. One time during an office visit there was afight in the lobby, and the last time I was there they were being evicted from the office. Wow!

AN UNCANNY diagnostician! After years of telling me it"was in my head",Dr. Poss believed my 6 year history of fatigue and difficulty concentrating,among others. She would not give up! After all other tests revealed nothing,she did an lab test on my stool and found a rare parasite.When I looked it up online,the chef symptom it causes was fatigue.After taking several months of an anti-parasite medication,I was back to myself. Everyone noticed the differen I bless this woman every day. I feel she gave me back my life. I would never consider going to another physician unless she recomended I do so. Because she attended Ivy League universities and specialized in Emergency medicine, she seems to know about everything. She refers to specialists,but usually can handle the problem herself. She is the only example I have ever met that explains the saying that medicine is an art and science. Brilliant woman!

Totally right about the druggies hanging around outside and in the waiting room. Whatever side medication business is going on here totally takes over seeing regular patients with medical issues. I would NEVER go back here. NIGHTMARE!

did in-house x-rays which were poor quality. had large volume of medication management patients, so didn't have the time to give to patients with medical problems

The Doctor seems OK, but the place is weird. It's a concierge practice, but there are druggies wandering around the office from some kind of rehab. Plus they make you use the mens room with a urinal and scrub sink

Dr. Poss has been my doctor for 20 years. She is not your tipical doctor. She is better than most.

DR POSS IS GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES, BUT TRYS TO PROMOTE OTHER TALENTS SHE HAS THAT ARE NOT MEDICAL--SHE IS VERY GOOD AT THE FEMALE DIAGNOSIS AND MEDICINE. THE WAITING TIME IS HORRIBLE AND I AGREE WITH SCARY-THERE WERE MANY TIMES I WAS THERE AND THE DOCTORS WERE NOT EVEN AWARE OF WHY I WAS THERE.....HAVE MOVED ON TO ANOTHER DR. ALSO A RELATIVE OF MINE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED W/CANCER AFTER BEING A PATIANT OF THIS PRACTICE FOR YEARS!!! SHE PASSED AWAY SHORTLY AFTER--SHE WAS BEING TREATED FOR ANOTHER ILLNESS AND THE HOSPITAL DISCOVERED SHE HAD LUNG CANCER AND IT WAS TERMINAL.

very abrasivei spent more than enough time at this practive but mostly saw her nurse practitioners who were very good....now they are gone and so am i!

doctor had never read my medical records, had never read nurse's notes about why I was at the office for a visit. tried to treat me for something other than what I was there for. never want to have to see her again, am working on getting a new primary care doc.
