Dr. Lav Kumar Singh, MD

I've seen Dr. Singh for last 7 years, and there is usually no wait time at all. He completely cured me of HEP C with the newest drugs. And is presently treating me for HIV. Usually there is no wait time at all and he communicates with patients well. He is over Paris Regional Hospital, and usually see's patients all day Tuesdays. Wish he was in office more days a week. He takes medicare/medicaid, and see's veterans. Very satisfied with his commitment to his patients. He has even called my house when I paged him. I recommend this doctor highly.

At the Veterans Clinic in Texarkana, I wait almost 2 hours past my appt. time. Va staff are Rude, dismissive and overall behave as if Veterans are a burden to their personal lives. As a Veteran I just make a copay for Medications the rest is free. Dr. Singh's Practice is 48 miles further along the Hwy. for me to Drive. I do it gladly. I pay the Doctor's visit fee, gladly. I pay FOR other services he orders, it is not free. "Gladly". My appt was at a certain time and that's when I am called back to the exam Room by a Nurse right out Marcus Welby MD. TV ð??º.show. It's Sir, yes ð??? Sir, Would you please, Sirâ?¦ Cheerful and polite and professional. Dr. Singh gets to the point, asks questions then asks about questions you might have of him. I never felt rushed. He leans toward you to listen, he is listening. At the VA a lot of times after a Visit there, they never, ever made eye Contact. You guess they pay attention, you just don't know. Dr. Singh spoke … using medical terms followed up with everyday words or slang so that I would understand and become educated should SomeOne else use those medical terms. I was so impressed. If your a Veteran using the VA in Texarkana, Tx, or the Regional Hospital ð??¥ in Shreveport, La. Overton Brooks VAMC consider the longer drive And extra cost and drive to Paris, Tx. You can still go to the close by Choctaw Casino, better than the Bosier, City Boats.
