Dr. Lavanya H. Palavalli Parsons

She's in Houston now. I switched to her after my doctor left and my first appointment was terrible. She was not supportive, didn't seem to know why I was there and instead of sticking with my original treatment plan she tried to push pain pills, an IUD and a pill that is newly on the market. I won't be going back to her.

This is more a comment on this doctor’s office (she is NOT in Dallas anymore, she’s in Houston. ). I was trying to book with another doctor in the same office, and they couldn’t get me in in a reasonable amount of time, so the gal on the phone recommended Dr. Palavalli-parsons. I had some misgivings about her already because of her lack of reviews (and 1 was very bad), but I went ahead and booked the appointment because time was of the essence. When I got to my appointment (which was 2 weeks after my phone call), they had no record of me! On top of that, they tried to blame ME for the mixup — ‘well did you get the name of who you talked to? You should always get the name....’. Like when you have a potential cancer diagnosis, like you’re even THINKING about the name of the person setting your appointment!!! The absolute incompetence of it all! And then on top of that, she almost didn’t validate my parking (because I wasn’t seen that day).... I will NEVER use this office ever… again!

Dr. Parsons did not explain anything, and she did not want to talk. She just rushed in and out on me. Please avoid her, she has no empathy for her patients.
